1. About these terms

These terms apply to purchases and use of the PETAPT website at petapt.in. PETAPT is the business operating this store. Read these terms together with the product information, checkout details and Privacy Policy before placing an order.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory law. Product-specific website eligibility rules describe our online request process and do not override those rights.

2. Accounts and product information

You can add and edit cart items without an account, but sign-in is required before checkout. On sign-in, eligible guest items are combined with your existing cart using current prices and stock availability; unavailable items or quantities may be adjusted. Guest carts are temporary and depend on your shopping session. Provide accurate contact and delivery details, keep your account credentials secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. Orders must be placed by an adult or under appropriate adult supervision.

Select the correct product variant before ordering. Descriptions, specifications and return or replacement eligibility may differ between products and variants. Product images are illustrative; check the listed specifications rather than relying only on how an image appears on your screen.

Where a product requires a prescription, checkout requires a customer-owned prescription approved through our review process. Store descriptions and care information are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.

3. Orders, prices and payments

Review the selected items, quantities, delivery address, shipping charges, discounts and final amount before submitting an order. Prices and amounts are displayed in Indian rupees unless stated otherwise. Any applicable charges are shown at checkout.

Checkout may offer UPI, cards, net banking, supported wallets and Cash on Delivery. Online payment availability depends on the gateway and payment provider. An online order is not payment-confirmed merely because you return from a payment screen; confirmation depends on the payment status verified by PETAPT.

If payment status is unclear, check your order details or contact support before placing another order. Coupons are subject to their displayed eligibility, validity, minimum order amount and usage limits. Discounts applied to an order affect the eligible refund amount.

We may need to contact you about stock shortages, incorrect listings or delivery issues. If we cannot fulfill an accepted order, we will explain the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution, including a refund for amounts paid where applicable.

4. Shipping and delivery

Delivery is offered within India, subject to serviceability. Our usual delivery estimate is 7 days from order confirmation. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date; the estimate displayed for your address and any order-specific communication should also be considered.

Delivery may be affected by location, courier availability, weather, holidays or other disruptions. Shipping charges and any free-shipping eligibility are shown at checkout. Contact support if your order is delayed or delivery appears incorrect.

Open your order details to view the tracking number and available shipment updates. Courier scans may take time to appear. Some services, including manually handled shipments, may not provide continuous live tracking.

5. Cancellation and address changes

You can request cancellation or update shipping details from your order while its status is confirmed and the relevant action is available. Once the order progresses, those customer actions are no longer available.

For a booked or dispatched shipment, contact support. Changes or cancellation cannot be guaranteed once fulfillment has progressed. Any approved cancellation involving a captured payment will be handled through the applicable refund process.

6. Returns and replacements

Not every product is returnable or replaceable. The product page states the separate return and replacement settings and any applicable request windows. Eligible requests can be submitted from the delivered order's details. There is no blanket 30-day return period.

The following reason-based rules apply to the website request options, subject to the corresponding product eligibility and request window. If both return and replacement are eligible, you may choose either option.

• Damaged product: return if returnable; replacement if replaceable. A photo is required for either request.
• Size issue: replacement only, if replaceable. Return is not available for this reason. A photo is not mandatory.
• Quality issue: return only, if returnable. Replacement is not available for this reason. A photo is not mandatory.
• Wrong item: return if returnable; replacement if replaceable. A photo is required for either request.
• Missing item: replacement only, if replaceable. Return is not available for this reason. A photo is not mandatory.

Requests are reviewed before approval. Where a physical return or inspection is required, support will communicate the next steps. Do not send an item to the registered address without return instructions. If an online option is unavailable but you believe your item is defective, incorrect or otherwise requires a remedy, contact support; your applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Refunds

The expected refund timeline is 5-7 working days after approval and completion of any required return inspection. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays. Your bank or payment provider may affect when the credit appears; contact support if it has not appeared within the expected timeframe.

For item returns, the eligible amount is based on the approved quantity and the amount paid for those items after discounts. Submitting a request does not immediately create a completed refund. Support will clarify the approved amount and any applicable shipping-charge adjustment.

Online-payment refunds are processed through the supported payment-provider route where available. Cash on Delivery or other cases requiring a manual refund will be coordinated through support using verified details. Never share your password, OTP, card PIN or CVV to receive a refund.

8. Acceptable use, reviews and external services

Do not use the website to commit fraud, interfere with its security, access another customer's information or submit unlawful or misleading material. Reviews must reflect genuine experience; submitted reviews are moderated before publication.

Website content and branding belong to PETAPT or the relevant rights holders. External payment, sign-in, messaging and shipping services have their own terms and privacy practices. Their use does not remove any responsibility PETAPT has under applicable law.

9. Problems, grievances and applicable law

Contact PETAPT using the details below with your order number and a description of the issue. You can also use the Support section in My Account to follow a support conversation. We acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and address them within one month of receipt, in accordance with applicable requirements.

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Nothing here prevents you from seeking a remedy through a competent consumer commission, court or other authority available under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes in the store or applicable requirements. The revision date identifies the current version. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an order already placed or override mandatory consumer protections.
